Records debits and credits accrued by Brown for weaving textiles and dressing flax. Activities of other area craftsmen are also noted, as they received credit from Brown for work performed for him. For example, "Brother Thomas," made and mended shoes for Brown's family. Bushels of food and days of agricultural labor are also frequently mentioned in the volume.
